Impressive. I love the Churchill. Seen a few up close and they are huge chunks of steel! The top of the tracks are are shoulder height as far as I remember. Wouldn't want to be in a fox hole with one of those beasts rumbling towards me!!!

Will be very interesting to see a scenario with a full set of animated units. Keep up the good work!

For a ToT-scenario with animated Civ 3 units, some other civers also must do some units. To do these units is not too difficult. If I can do them, most other can do them, too. I´m not a graphics specialist. All I have is PSP 7 and MS Paint ( and of course Mercator´s CivSprite).

A scenario with animated standard Civ 2 units (explosions for death and combat and arrows for movement) is still in development (or better: the scenario is ready since a long time but now it gets animated standard Civ 2 units).

What I want to realize with the animated Civ 3 units for ToT, is a new version of the ToT original game (working title: Civ ToT Reanimated).

Just wanted to say that some time ago this animating units research thread continued over at CivFanatics for a while and had some great discoveries.
Animated Units for Civ 2 ToT Mercator´s animation tool for Civ 2 ToT sprites "CivSprite" is there for a lot of years but it wasn´t used as nearly all civers (including Mercator himself) thought it is more of a theoretic value and not useable for normal modding. Mercator´s tool still can be...

Also more recently Mercator did indeed finally release his enhanced version 2 CivSprite tool he spoke about in this thread too!
https://user.fm/civ2.mercator.fastmail.fm/mapedit/files/CivSprite2beta2.zip If link doesn't work, use mirror download attached to this post - Blake00 Looks a bit similar to CivSprite 1.0 except uglier. But in contrast with CivSprite 1.0 you now have full control over the animations you create...
