Classic scenarios for S-League

Getting back to classic scenarios, someone should put the scen Sengoku Jidai on the Sleague site. That scen was the best I've ever seen for medieval Japan.

Darth Veda's Sengoku Jidai is in my folder of scenarios to be added. Just waiting until I have the time to add more. I am thinking about starting a multiplayer game at some point at Civ Webring.

Some time ago I began building a map of Japan, Korea and Manchuria for use in an Invasion Japan 1946 scenario by Patine. When this map is finished I would like to build a multiplayer game based on Sengoku Jidai but expanded to include Korea. This may be some way off though!

I have ordered a new copy of FW from E-bay as I gave my old copy to a friend. I have uploaded the modified scenario anyway as people with Fantastic Worlds can play. I wonder if there it a way to make it MGE compatible?

Uh, I believe I left the second event file as the current one instead of the first in the zip file. That's why the events don't work. At least that's what I recall. Ah, I forgot to send the changed version.

I did an alternative cities.gif for Exile's Age of Crusades scenario. I'm not sure who made these city sets but they are nice.

The top and bottom two sets are by Jamestout. The middle two are by Bernd Brosing. I love both these artists work. I guess BeBro's two don't show up in the game or are you mixing the styles?

Exile originally used the Bernd Brosing city styles but I didn't replace the middle two because they aren't used in the scenario.

Thought so. Best to stick to one style IMHO. Good work! I am slowly adding scenarios to the Scenario League and I can also add mods like this as an alternative option for players. Been rather busy lately but hopefully the X-Mas period will be a bit quieter and I can add/organize things!

Mc Monkey's scenarios???

Does anyone else have the problem with graphics in McMonkey's scenarios?? I want to play them but for some reason for his scenarios the original game graphics seem to over ride, and I have standard game graphics for the units not the unique scenario. This only happens for scenarios by McMonkey or ones where he's altered the graphics.

Anyone know the reason for this?

Which version of Civilization do you own?

I have never had problems and I design and play in Multiplayer Gold Edition (MGE). Are you running Fantastic Worlds?

I would like to get to the bottom of this as the whole world should be able to play and love my work

Yeah, I've got MPGE, patch 3. I think it must be my computer to be honest. I've re downloaded it. And now Bonaparte works fine. (If I load from one folder, I've copy the scenario folder over to another area, and it won't even load, civ2 just crashes.)

Other scenarios would crash on me, (For Instance I can play Jamestout's Colonialism, I can't get Britian & France to load) But for some reason only yours (MCmonkeys) would alter the graphics. Though maybe my comp isnot patched properly, as it's only the more "recently" created scenarios that cause it to crash. Anything prior to 2000 has worked smooth as silk.
