Do your folder names have spaces in them? It's been too long since I've played MGE, but I was wondering if this may be a DOS issue.

YES!. The was the problem, on any new folders, I've eliminated the spaces and it's no problems. Pretty dumb to not have thought have that. Anyway these Scenarios are all so wonderful, rediscovering Civ2 after a long hiatus.
Does anyone know or remember where I can get a scenario on the 7 years war? the one I used to play I remember it had both Europe, and the New World and India on the map. (Compared to these new scenarios graphics weren't up to par, but I love the mechanics)
Again all these new scenarios are so fantastic.

Glad you sorted it out! I think the scenario you are talking about may be available at Civ Fanatics:
Civ Fanatics
I would highly recommend Techumseh's Frederick the Great if you own a copy of Test of Time. Its really tough and beautifully made, you can find it here:
Tecumseh's Village

Each of Jay's scenario represents a different time for him as a designer, my personal favorite is of Celts and iberains, this was his last and problay best effort.
If you can't find any of them, PM me your email, I have most of them in their original zip files.
My old system had at least 150 scenarios, many of them long forgotten, I also did graphic updates on a lot of them as a lot of the older scenarios had crummy units and terrain, but the zips wil include only the original work.I believe Saddam because his position is backed up by logic and reason...David Floyd
