The environment of play is very pleasant.

I chose the Germans and at the end of June 1940, I conquered the town of Kovno.

The civilopedie on the governments seem to have a small problem :
    Thanks!

The Civilopedia Descriptions Text File needs some work, so I will get onto that ASAP.

I underwent serious losses in the Mediterranean.
On the East front Minsk and Kiev fell under my attacks.

I too am finding out that the Allied navies are a force to be feared!

I'd better research those Advanced U-Boats soon, methinks!

          @Curt
          House rules:
*Artillery and bombers attack first, if available.
*Non-generic units can only be built in cities with factories.
*Only 2xfighters or 1xbombers allowed on carriers.
*No four engine planes or V2 missles allowed on carriers.
*V2 missles can only be carried by Type XXI U-Boats.

          PS
(I don't really exepct anyone to obey house rules)
Except for the first one, those house rules make sense and look pretty good to me.

August 1940 is a happy world, compared to the hell of February 1944 where my game is!

Another rule could be that if invasion stacks destroy their fortress, then the player must not take advantage of this...

But I find it too tempting not to obliterate the evil Allied stacks of doom!

Personally, I agree with Von Burt on a Commonwealth player instead of just Australia. They already control New Zealand; I'd just give them Canada and South Africa (though not India) as well. It would make for a more fun player. That's my two bits.

I think that there is a way to create a nearly indestructible invasion stack. This is something I figured out while there was talk about a Red Front TOT redux and when playtesting Patine's Empire of the Rising Sun. However, because it uses up a terrain slot, it is worthwhile only in scens where there are going to be many events-generated invasions or at least one that must succeed at all costs for historical accuracy.

                    1. You need a new "Beachead" terrain with more than a +200% defense bonus. +500% sounds good to me.
                    2. Have events change the terrain to "Beachead".
                    3. Spawn the invasion stack and include at least one aircraft and several AA guns.

I doubt if fighters can dent such a stack. However, an A-bomb should do a pretty good job on it.

I remember you mentioning that for EotRS. It may be the solution to my issue for US invasions being thwarted by one well-placed Japanese unit of any type. I'll have to give it a try and see how that works.

                          @AGRICOLA:

I will consider adding a Mustang/Typhoon/AA Gun to the stacks too!

                          PS
Too bad the Axis have no A-Bomb!

                            UPDATE!

I have noticed some silly events bugs, and will issue a new version of events later today. (after work)

These bugs include not having Normandy work, and Avalanche never ending!

The issue was wrongly numbered givetech events and a missing tech for the Brits...Gah!

Bug-hunting is such fun...If you are test-playing, have delevent.exe ready!

The last time I used delevent.exe was a couple of years ago with Red Front. Could you please be nice to us players and include a copy and a few words about what we are supposed to do with it.

Oh yes, the play test. The scen seems to be running pretty well except for the glitch you know about.

Presently Oct 1941. Progress? Took Moscow in Aug 1941. RAF has been shot down and Brit fleet sunk around Home Islands. Britain is next, probably in Nov 1941. That's about the time that 50 full strength, vet, German units will cut loose from Moscow on the next offensive phase in Russia.

Them there pretty little Panthers sure are h*ll on wheels.

                                EDIT: Cross post
