  • I need a Scandinavian!

I have most of a map completed, but the picture I was working from is truncated, and the northern coast is unfinished. Could a stalwart take a look at the project for me?

    Hi there, Michael!

Feel free to post up the map, and we will get it fixed.

Since when has Glasgow been in Scandinavia?

        I wish it was!

I had no idea Vikings had travelled all the way to Oz either!

          Thanks.

I'm just looking for the coastline at this point. I haven't decided whether to make impassable rivers or not, hence the mountain terrain.

Na, the Vikings were not as barbaric and primitive as depicted, so they can't be the ancestors of the Aussies!

                Woa!
Nice map, though I keep tilting my head. I don't think I dare ruining it by trying to do the coast line. You should ask Eivind. Since he's a Norweigan, he has to do it.

Proof that the Vikings discovered Australia

Clearly the Vikings discovered the Todd River by Alice Springs!

Undeniable evidence that at least one Longboat made the journey!

Given the general level of soberity in that that town those people probably think that the boat is floating.

I visited Alice Springs a couple of years ago for work and the locals' number one complaint was that the river through the middle of town in the photo had run for over a week a few months previously. As there aren't many bridges this aparently causes no end of problems.

                        Hmm, unintended thread drift.

I think I solved my problem with the map. I could not, however, include Australia.

                        Thanks fellas.

Are Bulgars, Khazars, Petcheneg and Qipciaq going to be on the map?
