Do you think Frederick the Great cared about spelling? He didn't spell Prauge or Prageu or whatever. He conquered it, however it was spelt or spelled or whatever. He didn't even speak English. He spoke French! And when they called him "My Liege", he didn't care how it was spelled.

And Fairline (if that is your real name), a Frankfurter is something that you eat. A Frankforter is what you become after eating one.

Now I will ignore the negative vibes here, and go back to my scenario about the Hohenzollern adventures at the Battle of Hohenfriedberg against Joseph of Saxe-Hilderghausen, leading to the Agreement of Kleinschnellendorf.

well... you're right.. why "Liege" ? or "Prague"?
Put "Luttich"... "Prag"... ... "Koln" ... "Reims"...

A humble minor suggestion would be to switch the civ-colours of the blue and grey factions.

It would match their flags and increase the prettiness.

Shouldn't that be 'Josef of Saxe-Hilderghausen' ?

The Austrians had white uniforms and the French light grey with blue trim - hence the civ colors.

The flags are another matter. It seems nearly everyone used eagles - the Poles, Prussians, the Empire, Austrians and Russians. The Imperial and Austrian flags are very similar - both have a black eagle on a yellow background.

I've been unable to find a definitive flag for the Russians of the mid-eighteenth century, so I've improvised: a two-headed Romanov eagle on a green background.

That terrain is beautiful! Really catches the Germanic feeling. Although the Black Forest is virtually inexistent in the map.

Perhaps, if you are a Europhobe, but ToT has no problems with them.

Actually, umlauts have never worked for me, whatever the civ version. It doesn't have anything to do with fonts but with the typeset you select in your windows settings. Which means I see deltas and omegas where you people typed umlauts in this very page as well. Of course there is a workaround, but its not usually worth the fuss.
For the record, Civ does have problems with umlauts.
