    I've a little request for you, EZRhino: I really like your map, so I wonder if it's possible convert it in a MGE map...

    I'd like play with it, 'cause it's a large (and great ) map, covering that interesting areas between Greece, Egypt, Syria, Palestine, Anatolia, with islands and seas well represented and (I suppose) funnily playable

    and... hope your work go on, of course

      If you like Gagliaudo, I will send you an MGE friendly version of the map. I'm not sure it would make for a good vanilla game though, the terrain slots have moved around quite a bit:/

          that software/excel you did seem a great work !
          I see you can REMOVE RESOURCES from a square ?
          but.. still not possibile to add it ?
          one of this days .. i think i ll try to understand better what you did !

          my 2 penny opinion : SUPER !
          great map, great terrains, great units ..

            Sadly, you can only add resources to squares within the pattern.

              Thanks Boco. I've been occupied with RL lately, but I'm still really excited to work on the Sea Kings. I'm working on the rules.txt still, the Civilize2 and Leaders2 sections. The tech-tree is done. I've made up a skeleton events.txt. I think things should be playable before too long I hope

                Btw I enjoyed your scenarios, especially GokTurk.
                well.. that is not mine..
                I'm still "virgin" here..as scenario maker...
                as someone say of NATO (OTAN)
                Not Action Talk Only..
                maybe does not reflect the Nato this days ( too bad.. )
                but surely is related to my presence on the forum til now !!!

                I hope i can finish my scenario before the hot will come with summer.. as my PC will crash continuosly then.. with 35 c° around ..

                    BTW have you tested correctly sounds, didn't you?

                    I'm planning to use Chariots of war sounds for my upcoming Zhanguo remake, 'cause they sound more bronze-style then Civ sounds... If you need...

                        I've noticed an interesting bug. Perhaps somebody here has encountered it before?

                        Land seems to be improving itself i.e. irrigation and roads, in the complete absence of settler units. This seems to happen on several tiles nearby a city on the first turn of play. It's especially prevalent around barbarian cities for some reason. Any ideas?

                          I have noticed this before too. I figured the AI gets given these improved squares to boost its progress but I am afraid I have no explaination for why this happens. Have deleted these improvements and seen them come back!

                            Now that I have some free time finally, I think I will be able to make some solid progress in the next few weeks.

                              Look good. I like the map in particular - I might use it in the Crusades scenario I might make down the line. If that's OK with you, of course.

                              Also, why do you have the zoom set to maximum? With "normal zoom" you could get the same detail, and with smaller (and smaller memory size!) pics.
