I've just read something about the CivDip and installed the JRE. I tried to contact patine (the pro-east civ) but he didn't returned the pm. I'll probably not be at home tomorrow and, even if i can't talk to patine i'll try to finish my turn before the end of the week.Comment

Ok, before we start the game, i think we should establish the conditions of some limited wars.
I´m actually involved in Congo and Vientam, so here are my proposals:
CONGO WAR
1) Participants: Pro-east vs. USA
I assume that USSR will be involved too, right?
NATO... are you interested in joining the war?
2) Cities involved: I propose just Leopodville and Stanleyville
3) Victory conditions: I propose to hold both cities for 3 consecutive turns / total surrender of one side
4) Proposed zone of war:
5) General rules:
- We can attack anything inside the war zone
- We can carry air attacks from carriers/airbases outside the war zone
- We must use only conventional weapons.

VIETNAM WAR
1) Participants: Pro-east vs. USA
China/SEATO... do you want to fight there too?
2) Cities involved: I propose Saigon, Dong Hoi, Hanoi, Phom Penh and Vientiane.
I know that the last two cities are not part of vietnam but i´d like to include them in the war. what do you think?
3) Victory conditions: I propose to hold 4 cities (out of 5)for 3 consecutive turns / total surrender of one side.
Or do you think that we should include the 5 cities?

Just a minute. First, I'll have to look up this Congo War on Wikipedia. Second, as for Vietnam, I have issues with the US freely attacking Hanoi. 'No fly/no fire', remember. I see the war zone being restricted to the South, except maybe with regard to strategic bombing. No land troops in the North, certainly.Comment
