  • You could have some terrains with food : city terrain and farmland terrains around the existing cities and other no food terrain for the rest of the map.

    • Interesting thought. But I think I will give only the human player settler units to avoid city buildings.

I´m now making the city placement. And also including railroads to the map.

      • Played the beta tonight as the British and I've managed to kick the rebels out of all but two cities.

So, what you need railroads for? Since RRs won't hit North America for several more decades...

        • Either our good scenario maker is getting his scenarios confused, or there are some good quality roads somewhere in the colonies that should be represented by railroads (none I know of).

          • No, no, I´m not confused or something else.

It´s for my Civilwar scenario. I´m switching between both scenarios, because they are using the same map and city placements.
The railroads will be only used in the Civilwar.

            • C2U, I have not forgot about my cities for you, I have been busy the last few
weeks compiling two new comics and inking artwork like a ink-spraying machine....!

But! I will get onto this task soon, as I am getting ready to start a new scenario.
Which means it will be all hands on deck for CIV2 mod creation work!

              Cheers for your patience!

              • No problem Curt. I´m currently working on the rules. Tech-tree and terrain stats are done, now I will start with the units stats.
Btw, what scenario theme do you have in mind for your next project?

Great to hear that you are successfully with the Brits.
Please let me know, what you think about the unit stats (if there should be anything changed in your opinion) or if you think there should be some more/less units for the Brits.

                  • Just finished playing this scenario - enjoyed it immensely. I felt the units were pretty balanced - one problem I had though was as the British I had barbarian rebels breaking out - but they were 'british' style units, I think it would have been neater had they been American style ones.

Great scenario and am looking forward to your civil war scenario

                    • Thanks for complete playing the scenario, Tuttle757

I´ve updated the files (added some new units, changed the map, made some graphical changes) and working now on the event files.

I hope that the problems with the Barbarians are fixed now.

Because the Civilwar scenario is based on the same map, I´m working on both scenarios at the same time. For the civilwar scenario I´ve also added some new units and made some graphical changes.
