Maoist rebels perform coup in Vietnam
The war torn country of Vietnam saw more turmoil this month, as Chinese supported rebels performed a swift and effective coup all around Vietnam. Although the coup was an absolute success, the Soviets are expected to react with their own guerillas.


Maoist Vietnamese performed well on ground, supported by Chinese equipment and air support.

Btw, I positioned some ships inside Vietnamese waters, and I don't expect them to be a part of the war, as they are in fact ships, which do not count as shields (however I realise my ships block access to Hanoi). Sink them, and this war will escalate. If you object to the ships beeing there, I will retreat them to Chinese waters next turn.

Also, is the Pakistani civil war over yet? Has not the Soviets held it for 5 turns?

Regarding the scenario
Would a merger of the Nato civ's (in favour of India) lead to more trade with the third world and effectively more proxy wars?

Also, if I follow my initial idea of curbing the non aligned civ and making it barbarian, it would even open up for, say, Brazil!

The civs would then be:
1. WARPAC
2. NATO
3. CHINA
4. INDIA
5. BRAZIL

(and the pro civ's of course)
