Fantasy Flight's three LOTR scens were really something else, come to think of it. Virtually roleplaying/adventure games in and of themselves.

I would vote for 'Infantry' and old classic by Beren.

      A kind of proto-warhammer sci-fi war scenario...
Pretty cool and a real bestonet example!

Be sure and check out the Spanish Civ Site's other scenarios...

      Plenty of good ones!

That gangster scenario's mine. So cheers for the 'brilliant' compliment!

          Destroy Troy.

Sorry for that, but it was calling for it

I know, but somehow I was never able to leave the region and set sail for home.

Ah yes.. I overlooked that. I was already surprised no one named any of his!

Anyway, I was wondering, I can't find any old pages from earlier scenario design contests... slightly off-topic, i know..

Download the file from the link I posted up above. My website version contains 3 Hints files (one for each chapter). They are event sensitive (i.e. only one hint at a time appears on the screen), so you won't inadvertantly read any that would spoil the game.

From what I understand of that Civ game of yours, it's all about launching one's own spaceship before the others do. So this is no big news after all: my father just beat you all to the stars once more. - Philippe Baise

Keep at it Kobayashi. Despite the slim feedback you get from us, you'd be surprised at how much your innovative work is appreciated.

Thanks mate. Btw, I just realised that I talked about Ismarus, not Troy.
And I also realised that I remembered that I solved the problem. I got all the way to Odysseys home, but there I missed some of the events before entering the house, thus it all turned into a disaster.

i never got to the bow.. or the event in penelope's room.. don't know what is next really. I just can't get to the enemy, nor make use of any of the weapons (shields/spears) etc...

Memories may be be distorted with time, but I remember it played well for me. Unfortunately I don't remember what I did between landing and entering Penelope's room. Don't you have to knock off a couple of units along the way? The only 'trick' in the final scene that I remember was to hop onto furniture and other special terrain. Oh, and explore as much as possible via the 'railway' system in that room. That way you can knock off some of the weaker units in the back. Take the tip with a grain of salt, it's been a long while since I played it.
