Fantasy Flight's three LOTR scens were really something else, come to think of it. Virtually roleplaying/adventure games in and of themselves.

I'm looking for the most unique scenarios ever made for civ2 - scenarios that slightly alter the way the game is played, such as that brilliant Gangster scenario (forgot it's name) that made Civ2 look like New York.
There's a whole collection of non traditional scens here: http://www.civfanatics.com/civ2/down...narios/others/
Check out the Kobayashi ones.Last edited by Eivind IV; February 23, 2006, 10:44.

From what I understand of that Civ game of yours, it's all about launching one's own spaceship before the others do. So this is no big news after all: my father just beat you all to the stars once more. - Philippe Baise

Keep at it Kobayashi. Despite the slim feedback you get from us, you'd be surprised at how much your innovative work is appreciated.

Download the file from the link I posted up above. My website version contains 3 Hints files (one for each chapter). They are event sensitive (i.e. only one hint at a time appears on the screen), so you won't inadvertantly read any that would spoil the game.
And I also realised that I remembered that I solved the problem. I got all the way to Odysseys home, but there I missed some of the events before entering the house, thus it all turned into a disaster."Peace cannot be kept by force.

Memories may be be distorted with time, but I remember it played well for me. Unfortunately I don't remember what I did between landing and entering Penelope's room. Don't you have to knock off a couple of units along the way? The only 'trick' in the final scene that I remember was to hop onto furniture and other special terrain. Oh, and explore as much as possible via the 'railway' system in that room. That way you can knock off some of the weaker units in the back. Take the tip with a grain of salt, it's been a long while since I played it.
