Great job indeed Curt. I do however have a comment in regards to the obelix you mention. I personally think (keep in mind this is my opinion alone) that the obelix overshadows the two pyramids in the city style by just a tad too much. I would suggest that if any change would be made it would be to make the obelix smaller and either one of the two pyramids a smidge bigger.
Like I said though, thats just my foolish opinion and either way the cities look fantastic .

@Catfish: I am having the same difficulty with the Four Seas Republic (by Hanti). Would you mind looking at its table as well?
There are actually 8 of these tables, one for each tribe (including Barbarians), but that's not the only problem with the file. Other fixes:
1. Removed 'build transporter' orders – there were a lot of these.
2. Removed rubbish from casualty lists.
3. Removed Animated Units and Terrain lockouts.
4. Changed x3 objective cities to x1 and adjusted the victory thresholds.
I'd suggest you get hold of a hex editor. That way I won't be required.

Nope, your opinion is certainly not foolish.
I actually agree that the obelix things are too big!
With that in mind I have edited the city set to scale them down to a sensible size.
@Catfish: Thanks for all of your help. I actually haven't done anything in the way of hex-editing to up to this point. I guess now is as good a time as any to start.
@curtsibling: Brilliant work on those cities. I can't wait to see them in-game!

Now that should make even the Pharaoh proud Curt! I actually have a question now about making a city style of my own in the same reduced building your using here. Would it be possible for you to post the empty terrain hex that you've used in this case? The one with the two winding dirt roads?
I think it would help quite a bit when it comes to making up the "Carribean Colonial" city style I have in mind for the ToT update of "Pitt's War at Sea". Also, if you could post any advice while your at it on making the reduced city style buildings and graphics it would go a long way as well.
Any help would be most welcome my friend .

I am happy to help, dude!
Here are some ToT starter tiles I use to make cities.
What I do is plant some single small buildings on these, and
then increase them in stature and size in the following city levels.
Okay Curt, using the base terrain you had posted as well as the Egyptian city style as a building placment reference I put together this attempt at the Spanish Carribean Colonial style I had mentioned.
Off the top of your head is there anything you can comment about this? The size of the buildings or they're colours perhaps? Anything constructive that you or anyone else could offer would be more than welcome.
Fabulous! You've got the Spainish architecture down pat. My only suggestion is the walls should be whiter - my mental image of tropical colonial style is mostly whitewashed buildings, with some pastel colors. Keep the red roofs.
