      • London.

(although I do live closer to Glasgow than London, but other 'polytubbies would come to a London meet)
Not that I'm biased of course, or a proper member of SL, but I try to do my bit now and again, giving suggestions and spell-checking to Cyrion when he asks.

        • There are too many Poly meetings held in London.

          • i am not sure that you would like Thessalonike, Heresson. London has better looking places + big parks (i have lived there for a while)

            • Thessalonike shall be much closer than London to where I'm staying. Also, I always wanted to see Thessalonike. I've read Thessalonike's Hagia Sofia is very important for Byzantine architecture, and the other church, the round one, as well.
Also, Athos is near, and I do not have long hair anymore, so I can enter (though it seems some of the monks don't bath and stink incredibly. But they are the last remain of the Byzantine monk type, You know, the fanatic ones hating the heretics and making little schisms. That's so sweet.).
Also, I am going to visit a friend in Constantinople and perhaps my sister in Smyrna, so I could do it by the way of visiting You in Thessalonike.
Also, thanks to someone (You and Mark G) living nearby, the rest of us could save money

              • there are many old churches here, so if that matters to you i guess it would be worth your time & trouble.
I dont know about MarkG, but the house i am renting is very small (barely enough for one person ) so no luck there...

here is the hagia sofia of thessalonike:

                          • This IS my aunt's house. I am renting it, due to some special agreement we have (i drowned her 4 year old son when i was also 4 years old, and one aspect of the family conspiracy cover-up that followed was that we have to pay a lot of money each month to them, and so i rent one of her apartments and pay a lot more than it is worth.

I am joking ofcourse! I was 3 at the time.
