      • There are two in the Imperium Romanum files I posted a while ago. Let me know if you don't have these HT. These are ToT and too tall for MGE; if you want the latter I'd go with BeBro's.

        • Speaking of ToT conversions.. You should really uploa your conversions Fairline. I remember having Hellas, but can't find it. Managed to find Mongols and Imperium Romanum.

          • I would love to see Hellas for ToT. It was probably my favorite scenario ever for MGE! I must admit the original terrain graphics turned me off a bit so I swapped them for something I was more farmiliar with and put Fairlines units in too

I have just spent about an hour updating the graphics for the 100 Years war as I have not played it before but it looks top class!

            • Come to think of it. That Hellas update was probably for MGE. Nevertheless the graphics were outstanding.

Found it! You know I thought I had seen one by you but I couldn't remember. Don't worry, I'm going ToT for the next one.

Haven't got it any more Arth. I may get round to making a ToT one some day as I'm a big fan of John Ellis's scenarios.

Talking of ToT scenarios, I remember seeing a question from Werd about how easy is it to convert MGE scenarios to ToT. Apologies for not answering you then! On the face of it, it's very straightforward, but there are a number of glitches which need to be sorted out post-conversion. These are all described in detail on Catfish's site in his guide to conversions, so I won't duplicate here.

Here's a taster of the gfx for a ToT conversion of Carolus Invictissimus by Jesús Fernández. The unit gfx are complete, but I need to get round to making some people and cities (unless Curt has some hanging round?!). Usual stuff about png's, darkness with IE and dl-ing the zip for the pukka bmps.

The galleon is a beauty, as are all the others...

                        • Very beautiful set of boats there Gareth! I especially love the colouring and shading on the Galleon and the Galleass. I'm not sure I'm familiar with Carolus Invictissimus by Mr. Fernández, how long back was it released?

                          • Thanks. Carolus is years old, and can be found on the Spanish site IIRC. It's a good representation of the Habsburg-Valois conflict in Europe in the first half of the 16th C. It had some nice touches, the most novel of which was placing immobile units from one civ in another civ's cities, thereby allowing the first civ (the Habsburg's) passage through the latter civ's cities (the lesser Imperial states). Worked great in MGE, but the bugger sure don't work in ToT It's this problem which stopped me posting the ToT conversion.

                            • Great units, G.
Also, the zoc were set up with the habsburg civ in mind. You were limited in ways that weren't always obvious. I gave up on it more than once.

May we hope of more ships from the 15th to the 18th century?
