    Magnificent, Gareth!

I don't know why, but I'm always happy when I load the forum and I notice you've been posting in the Ancient/Pre-Steam Unit Graphics thread!

Just a question for future referance; if I download the png file with Opera, do I still have to download the bnp version?

      Spectacular units btw!

Gareth, you don't suppose I could get the MGE versions of those?

                Thanks guys

                @ Phenix: will do

@ Eivind: I think Opera, Mozilla etc recognise the png format's use of an alpha transparency channel but good old Microsh1te still haven't bothered. if you use IE a png file will appear 10-12% darker onscreen and also be saved as a darker version. You can check by right-clicking and saving the png, and then check the magenta/pink unit background colour. It should be R:255, G:0, B:255 and hue 212, sat 255, light 128 if it's saved correctly.

Well correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the cache of Napoleonic units Gareth just recently posted can be easily modified where needed to fit the period of the American Revolution.

I'd be glad to lend a hand for such an endeavor.

Unless you're die hard about Fairline units, there are many useable units in the old showcase. Even on the first page there are many nice ones (check out soundwave's post for instance):

Put the scenario out. There aren't enough ancient scenarios out there.
