Glad to see someone found use in my template!
That tech tree template was based on the tech tree I made for Colonialism. In Colonialism there was a tech called Professional Armies which was located in the Feudalism slot. I probably just forgot to wipe that out when releasing the template.
As far as I know the Feudalism tech has no effect on the game.

Sorry for the delay on these HT, here are my first attempts at the German button shields you had requested. I tried to keep them consistant with the shields you had attatched to your earlier version of the units file. If you have any comments or suggestions on them just give me a shout and I can make whatever changes are needed.

Chris, your work is incredible! I love the new shields! Really, the shading is perfect. Great work! I am definately going to use these.
As for an update.
I have been working on maximizing the tech tree to its full potential. Barring the in-game techs that will be used specifically for events the tech tree is about complete. The usual popups grom the game.txt that are linked to techs will be used to tell the story, as always, plus uncover some neat strategic bonuses that the Allied player can use.
The game.txt is about done, but I am going to give it a going over a few more times to make sure I give it the seal of approval.
The improvements are completed with Allied and German improvements seperated to give the gameplay a definate uniqueness.
The map is about 90% right now with fortresses and railroad lines to be added, depending on how well the German AI works.
I'm adding a few bits of conspiracy'noire into the mix with the Philadelphia Experiment playing a part.
All in all the project is coming along and looks to be going as planned.

Oh if ONLY! Imagine a mini-mission in the style of Koby's "Sisko vs the Pah-Wraiths" in the Dominion War, or indeed Harry's own "SS mini-mission" in AE1, but with Captain America vs Red Skull and a number of his goons... Corny? Hell yes. But fabulous nonetheless, and definitely in the AE spirit in my opinion...
Here's hoping part of AE 3 takes place on the Moon
