I can only help with your point 1, I'm afraid. The barbarians use the same city style as the Romans (as set in the @LEADERS section of the Rules.txt).

Thanks a lot, Nestor! I will send you a sav file from the scenario as it stands.

I think this projection of gigamap is Mercator. It is actually pretty good. Africa is very large, and the Northern Hemisphere is no longer so predominant. However, Russia's and Canada's areas are still overwhelming size. And, as you might expect, the UK has a larger than realistic size because of gameplay considerations (Celts and English have to start there).

I will also attach a zoomed out version of the map, as seen in ToT.

I'm afraid i missed the mail. I've got the account set so that only people in my adress book get through, the junk mail folder automatically erases mails more than one week old, and i've been to a farm for the last week and a half with electricity fom 7 PM to 10 PM, not to mention no internet (or computers for that matter).

So i have to ask you to send the mail again please.

Okay Nestor, I just got back from the northeastern end of the USA, and I'm ready to send you the file again. It may take me a few days, though, because I'm in mid-USA and will soon drive to east USA again.

Washington DC is pretty much the same since I was here earlier in the year. Very similar in temperature and traffic to Beijing, PRC actually.

I'm going to be moving out of my cousin's apartment and into my own place next Monday or so. After that, I hope to deploy my desktop computer, Sullivan, and then get back on track with scen making.

In the interim, I will be looking for a job and playing GameCube.
