Curt, I'll try and get yours up as soon as I can. Exile wrote a little piece and submitted it, that's why his got up there first. My damn DSL still isn't up. The phone company is taking their good old time running the line from the pole.
I am not delusional! Now if you'll excuse me, i'm gonna go dance with the purple wombat who's playing show-tunes in my coffee cup!

Difference is irrelevant when dosage is higher than recommended!
I just joined, figured that i like making units that no-one else lmakes-(rare tanks and pre-dreadnaughts)
i don't make very good scenarios, but i make unique nemo-style units solet the banana dance
P.S.
and can someone delete that fictional thread i made?
all it seems to be doing now is wasting space,
i have a better idea

out of curiosity, does anyone here have a "unmodified"
civ2 installation on their computer?
edit:
where do maps go?

Well mines nearly un modified - I've only changed the name of the English male leader and changed the order of the cities so that they (roughly) correspond to the implied founding date. Oh and I've just remembered, I changed the elvis graphic as well.
On the other hand, having seen some of the brilliant graphics you people produce, I'm tempted to go for a more full blooded set of changes.
thays not what i mean
i spent four and a half hours making one and i want to know
where to submit it for review

The forum isn't quite meant for downloads. The graphics are a bit of an exception (and the scenario development threads).
Maps aren't really reviewed though... Oh, and isn't 4.5 hours a bit little, for a map? Unless it's a fictional one.
As far as map is concerned, I'd highly appreciate to get a copy of it myself (zipped up and with readme too) for the eventual inclusion on my website. You can find my e-mail address all over the website:
I'm sort of working on a database of all Civ2 maps (I have over 750 already), which would include a rating system. But I'm not sure if that will ever see the light. In the meantime I'm not adding any maps either.
Oh, and I've never modified my Civ2 installation. I somehow can't even get myself to replace the fugly ToT graphics.
