I'm fairly certain that for the Top 5 Cities calculation, Wonders contribute 10 points, not 20.

There's an exception (of course). If the target city is near either pole, you will only get the E-W coordinate with any accuracy, since the poles prevent true N-S centering on objects that are too close.

Once you have the "longitude" (X coordinate) pretty close, you can use the other black-clicking trick and do left-right clicks to find a tile where it does not recenter - this will be the city site. This works even for cities near the poles.
