  • Curt, Thessalonica was the most improtant city in the Balkans at the time. Two Balkan wars were fought over her and Bulgaria only entered the Great War trying to get her back.
    Remove Tirana for heaven's sake.Albania was declared independent from the Ottoman Empire, officialy, after WW1. Even so it was a tiny nation. Place Thessalonica at 143,69.

    Moreover i think Trapezous should be at 155,71. Can't be 100% certain though in that map scale.

    Bulgaria should be represented somehow.

    And you have an airbase in Iceland?

                • Curt dude any chance you reconsider your decision to make this on a global map?

                  I mean the main war theaters(Europe, Balkans, Middle east) are somewhat crammed up. On the contrary there is plenty of "never to be used" space in China, Southern America, Ausieland, and the US.

                  • Sorry man.

                    My criteria was a global map, as this is dictator WW1 -stlye.

                    But I am seriously considering following this up with a full European version using the same graphics, on a big map.

                    If you are up for it, I could ask you to help me create a fine WW1 Euro scenario - that give the Balkan wars the full treatment!

                    What say you?

                      • A european based WW1 is ideal. Truth is the Balkan theater although occupying hundreds of thousands of troops was only considered a waste of resources.

                        I would love to help you man but i am leaving tommorow for a six month trip to our degenerated capital of Athens. Thats why i asked if you would have it ready by the 29th.

                        @Stephan
                        piss off Austrian!

                        P.S the Balkan wars you are refering to were fought on 1912-13, as a prelude to the great play of world war.

                        • @ Pericles: Well, at least Austria fought (no good, this I know) for more than 4 years, unlike those Greeks who entered the war in 1915 ....
