      • Curt, old chap, just 1 initial question:

        * Is there some civ like the Central Powers? If yes, why Trieste is Italian and Budapest Ottoman?

        Comment

        • And now for the nit-picking:

          * Casablanca, Dakar and Oran were French too.

          * Luanda was Portuguese if I recall correct.

          * Djibouti was French, Mogadishu Italian.

          * Mecca, Medina, Jerusalem, Damascus, Beirut, Baghdad, Basra were Ottoman.

          * Bangkok was independent, Singapore and Brunei British.

          * While Brussels is fine as Allied city, Amsterdam should ne neutral, like the Dutch colonies in Indonesia (Padang, Batavia, Bandjarmasin)

          * Rabaul was German!

          * Wellington is misplaced, it should be at 251, 177!

          * Formosa should be Japanese too; I suggest your rename Okinawa to Nara.

          * Korea was Japanese too. Wonsan and Masan would be better renamed to Seoul and Pyongyang.

          * Honolulu is on the wrong island. Try 13, 99 instead!

          * Monterrey should be at 59, 91 imho.

          * You should do something about Floria, it looks a bit odd.

          * Why is Georgetown in the middle of nowhere larger than Pittsburgh?

          * Porto Alegre and San Iulian are too large I think.

          * Finland looks odd too, and Petrograd is misplaced too.

That´s it for the moment. Sorry for adding such a long list.

          • Steph is right dude; Trieste was promised to Italy by the Entente for their entry to the war.

And Athens at that time was the largest city in Greece but not that large. It had a pop of 250.000 and thessalonica had 160.000. Ideally athens should be a 4, thessalonica a 3 and Heraklion a 1.

Moreover thessalonica was a MAJOR balkan trade centre, practically the most prized city in the balkan chersonese. Put in trade routes with Constantinople and other Turkish cities.

            Same goes for Izmir.

And why is iraklion not Greek dude? It was unified with the motherland in 1907.

and a last thing: Don't know what your hapiness improvements will be BUT if you happen to have a mosque as one be sure to add one n thessalonica. Also if there is such a thing as a christian temple add one in izmir, constantinople and trapezous. Just a thought.
Now that i mentioned it i think that the ottoman style should be more distinct-more arabic and islamic looking. Just my opinion here.

            • BTw i think you could do without Copenhagen and Heraklion(iraklion).

oh and IMHO athens should have barracks while most Ottoman cities shouldn't. It so happened that the turkish army was not that well trained while the Greek army certainly was. I just thought that you could represent the quality inferiority of the ottomans by that.

And CERTAINLY add marketplace and perhaps bank improvements in thessalonica-as said it was a MAJOR trade centre.Oh and add harbor improvements in the greek cities.

                  • Minneapolis is too far north, I'd move it down a space.

Monrovia is closer to the coast of the Atlantic than where it's at, I'd move it a space to the left.

Budapest and Trieste were owned by the Austrians at the start of the war.

Ireland, of course, was still part of Britain.

The Baltics were not independent at the start of WWI, so Riga and Tallinn should be owned by the Russians.

Hanoi and Saigon were French colonies, they should be owned by the allies. Bangkok though was independent.

Salisbury needs to be moved again (remember the diagram before?)

The Sudan was owned by the Brits.

Kigali borders Lake Victoria and should be at (149, 129)

Windhoek was German and Bloemfontein was British.

Malta (Valetta) is British, not Italian.

                    Ethiopia was independent.

That's about all for now. If I see anything else, you'll be the first to know.

                      • And this is what I'd make Korea look like, though I'm uncertain of how much influence Pyongyang actually had prior to the split of Korea...
