      Considering debeest's recent remarks... I'll add my vote to Jrabbit's proposal. How about we contact the admins about this?

        Though I think this has already been decided to leave as is, I would think the best bet would be to combine both forums (General/Help and Strategy) into one forum. The declining interest in Civ 2 means that neither forum is as busy as it once was, and neither is busy enough to warrant it's own forum anymore. As recent actions suggest, even the regular poster don't know whether to post in General or Strategy, so why not give both a boost and combine them. I would think this would result in minimal effort for the archives, as they wouldn't need to be sorted, just combined (though I am only assuming this is simpler ). I think this would result in the best of both worlds, and mean that no poster, new or old, would need to search both forums for an answer to a question, or a thread from the past.

              You would think so, wouldn't you? Still, Civ2 seems to have the second busiest forums, after Civ3!
