Let me explain something to you..... I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing. - The Big Lebowski(1998)

I still don't get an email notification, two times in a row. Started after I restarted PitBoss. Anyone not getting notified by PitBoss for a new turn?
DrDeke, I have queued everything but my scout, thanks for the reminder anyway
I have not received an email notification.

I haven't gotten any notifications either. Keygen, is the smtp server name (inspector.ad.rustytel.net) still correct in pitboss? Maybe it got cleared out when you restarted it or something.
The power just came back on here after an outage that lasted longer than my UPS batteries. The server is now back up and running, but Keygen will have to log in and restart Pitboss before we can continue.
PitBoss restarted, using the latest autosave, 3120 BC.
Everyone who had played that turn will have to replay it. About 47 hours left.
"inspector.ad.rustytel.net" is used by default anytime I restart PitBoss, no need to enter it manually. It is probably written in "CivilizationIV.ini" so I guess it is retrieved from there.
Hmm. Well, we'll see what happens after this turn ends. Maybe the problem will magically fix itself (wishful thinking?).
If not, I will try to trace the messages to see why they are not getting delivered.
Oh, and I will also try to get some software set up this week that will gracefully suspend the Civ4 server in the case of a sustained power failure in the future, which would prevent this problem from happening again.
Good news on the e-mail; I am quite sure I have fixed the problem that was preventing Pitboss from sending the notifications.
Turns out the antivirus software on the server was blocking Pitboss from sending mail because it thought it was spam software! I've changed the settings to allow all Pitboss mail through, so we should all be notified when the next new turn starts.
