Hi,

We had a network outage which was just resolved. You should be able to connect to the server now. I don't know exactly what the "pause mode" schedule will be, but we aren't in it yet.

Really? That's strange. I just tried and I was able to connect from my computer at work. I show that it is 2680 BC and that there are 3 hrs, 41 mins left in the turn.

I am not aware of any power or network problems last night around the time you posted.

Since it is 3am in your time zone, I guess you're probably not awake right now, but please let me know if you are still unable to connect when you wake up and get a chance to try it. If you can't connect, shoot me a quick email on my phone and I'll get online and try to debug the problem with you.

I connected this morning around 10:00 AM (PST) and a few times yesterday. It brings up the 'waiting for other civilizations' message.

I noticed the connection seemed to be a lot slower this morning.

Hmm... Sounds like maybe Pitboss thinks someone else is still connected who really isn't. If Keygen or Grandpa Troll is around, maybe one of them should log in, save the game, and then restart the Pitboss process. I'll shoot an email to the two of them asking them about it.

Keygen has restarted the Pitboss server; hopefully you will now be able to connect when you next get the chance. Please let me know if you are still having problems.

I have no problem connecting to PitBoss for the past few days.

It seems only ricketyclik experiences connection issues and I can't think of the reason...

PitBoss as well as the server itself has been restarted as prompt by DrDeke. Let's hope this will help. However Rick has lost his turn so if that was an important turn and need to play it let me know.

Also, as requested by berXpert, we shall pause the game from 21st to 30th December.
