Humm yes, obviously Lothar will not be able to play for a long time and anyway will be quite busy.
The idea of resigning to the AI seems the most practical. I sent Lothar an email about that.

Lothar sent me his password.
So this turn will be a bit more complicated than usual. What I expect is:
1) I send to Platy Lothar's 1177 turn with his password (done)
2) Platy from now on play Lothar's turns and send to Rob
3) Rob play his turn as usual and send it to Platy
4) Platy resign (Alt-Q) in order for the AI to take other the Scots then send me the game has usual
Then we go on with the new standard sequence
1) I send new Turn to Platy (who will then play the Swedes)
2) Platy send to Rob
