Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
Nope. You picked the perfect time attacking me. No cash to upgrade to red coats (yes, I got the tech ), and my next GM only comes next turn. And I just come from anarchy so can't switch civics either. By the time it can do a trade mission there's *perhaps* one city left of the English.
And you picked the perfect time for RL reasons as well. Probably won't have much dedicated playtime the next few weeks, after which a planned holiday came, after which I have to move.
But I kinda do look forward to a rematch somewhere after all that.
No more joy then to obliterate the untrustworthy.

yeah, the money was one reason why i attacked this turn. i figured that in the 3 turns i need to reach your capital, you can max-buy-rush one unit. of course i didn't expect you to have rifling yet (how the heck??? liberalism?) nor did i think you'd have your trade caravan ready already. according to the event log i thought i'd get you just a turn before you spawn it... i guess i underestimated pacifism... again...
re rematch and RL time-out: happy to fight a duel on a small sized planet some day

Wonder if seeing a red coat in one of my cities would have hesitated you... I did think of using cash to upgrade a unit to one but upgraded something else instead.
And if I didn't went into anarchy the turn before, that Merchant would have feasted in another city already.
Oh, btw, It seems I got the job.
