Big and small is funny that way... you tend to think you're in a much worse position than you are.
It is a bit lower on hammers than other maps, I would note ... but much higher on commerce, due to all the water (like most island maps). It can make for interesting specialization of cities.<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.
