Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
For some reason the game marks my turn as played when I'm the last to play and the turn rolls over. However I haven't moved any troops or done anything to violate the double move rule...
You can't hit enter or the end turn button.
You simply hit the return to main menu. That will not end your turn.
Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war .... aw, forget that nonsense. Beer, please.
I think he meant to end one turn, but not the next turn. Maybe you click end turn more than once and because of lag, it seems as though it's only once?
I don't have to press "End Turn" come to think of it. I probably need to check that box in the options... But still, if I haven't done any moves how can it end turn?
You can always end your turn even if you make no moves. It's just the way the game is designed. Single or multi-player is the same. Why make a player move all units before they are able to go to the next turn?
New Router and it sometimes disconnects for a few minutes and then reconnects. Not sure what is causing it just yet. Sorry for the trouble.
BF - no need to apologize. These things happen. The game has been fairly stable, and when it hasn't been, my hats off to you for how quick you get it back on-line. Thx!
btw - I got a new d-link router (WBR 2310) and it does exactly the same thing. I did some research and apparently that is not uncommon for the model I bought.
I can live with it for now - but my main reason behind buying it was for game hosting purposes. And I will need to get that straightened out - or a new router - before I host my next game.
