I got a save file from Garagamel by mistake and no save from John-SJ. Did you use euphrates at kornet dot net?

I just forwarded my save to you again. And I did use the euphrates address originally. *shrugs*

I'll have to check when I get home this evening.

Is it just me, or does it seem like there are two games going on here at the same time . . . . . . ?

This is frustrating. It's gone back to saving in a folder called PC. It's tempting to just give it up and wait until a patch is released . . . .

i really don't care about that folder name. let's at least play for a while and maybe later it can be fixed... and if not... so what, we'll take it from the "PC" folder

but masuro: are you sure you did not load an old file? or did you open the file directly from the email attachment? if so, first save it, then open it from the pecunia main menu.

Huh? Is opening directly from the email attachment somehow a bad choice? It seems to me that if you open from the attachment there is no chance of accidentally picking the wrong save-game from the ingame load game dialog.

Actually you have not yet received the savegame from the game that was called "Magnificent Eight". As John-SJ mentioned, his startposition was the same as the one in our first try. So the savegames have been mixed up at some point.
I just checked the dates of the savegames I sent to sabrewolf and I am absolutely sure, that I have sent the right savegame. And Sabrewolf already said that he also sent the right save.

some people still have not posted here if they sent on the right save.

anyhow, i sent the correct save to emperor V with a short explanation to know whether he used the correct file.
please guys, let us sort this out and whoever was the first to not use the correct subfolder "The Magnificent Eight" should post here... and try it again. it's not that hard

sorry that my last post sounded so bitter, but this is pretty frustrating

My first turn went into a folder the computer created called "Magnificent Eight". I checked my sent folder in Eudora and the correct save went to Kailes.

Hoorah! I just sent off the turn back to Masuro, (using your new address) and it was definitely the correct one. Saved in the new folder, new start position, looks like we are a GO!

I sent the save to Kailes yesterday. I was right; there were two games going on at the same time. Anyway, I will play this evening and send the game to Kailes.
