I have to confirm the issues

1. I get a message about a file not loading
2. played for about 7-8 hours and crashed, no warning

I dont think any of those should effect game play

Don't know why the patch should be different but there you are. I'll keep checking the site for a patch. If it doesn't come soon I may buy a proper copy of the game. Though that means using CDs.

masuro: the "using CD" part is really annoying, especially as my small travel notebook doesn't have an internal drive and external ones are too resource hungry to be USB-powered.

but there always are alternative methods, such as *cough*no*cough*cd thingies. or the "do it yourself" version of that (create an image of the DVD/CDs, mount it, play)

anyhow, is there anybody who didn't have a password set? if so, can that person replay the game with the new patch. afaik that is the only problem.
