vid card my system could only take 250 watt, they said a 300 should be no problem...well just a major one!

its all over now and C4 works like a charm !!!

alright! i got the finally and now also installed on a PC with T&L, that means i am ready to rumble

mickey, have you already got the game too?

if not: how about we start the 6 player game 3 vs 3 with the north americans+me. eg as jshelr's proposal which i used in my first post:

team black (Snoopy369, Sabrewolf, Jshelr)
vs
team white (PlatyRex, LordNuclear, smellymummy)

once the other europeans have their game, we can start that one too...

1) now how about the world settings?
continental won't be cool because inter-continental wars take too long and come too late. so i'd say either archipelago or (preferably) pangea-style.

2) how about a large map?

3) how about non-ancient start (the one after the first)?

4) what is your civ choice? i'll book hatshepsut (egypt) this time around

5) any special rule wishes?

Friad I'm still waiting, its only in the shops on Friday. I'm assuming its the same for Chrisius.

Amazon sent it out a couple of days ago. It will take awhile to get back up to the level of capability you had in Civ III. The game is much different in important details.

chrisiusmaximus has withdrawn from this game so we are down to 7 in the 2nd game.

from what i have read, terra is great fun. but astronomy comes a long long way into the game and by the time we start settling the other continent, the game on the home world is probably already decided. although... it could be interesting what do others think?


PS: why no barbs? "free" cities without declaring war is pretty fun and you get some unit training action.
