wow, i really did make a large points jump

i compared a save 5 turns ago with the last one: 30% of the difference (so about 80 points) came from the three techs i acquired/researched and the rest from the additional culture-bombed land, which now after 20 turns has been valued as mine

do not expect any further land gain from me from now on, at least until i start attacking ragnar. but population should grow soonish when i start expanding a bit more and the jungles are cleared away...

in his other border city which is right next to bern he has another 2 catapults and 3 longbows or so.

so i'm building up some countermeasures, including a maceman which is the latest tiny jump

for once i am worried!
when i saw that we started off on different continents i focussed on stuff like wonders and religion. fortunatly i beelined for feudalism (with oracle), so at least WHAT i have is still the state of the art

i could gift hannibal everything and we'd lose you, but that's not how i am

2 caravels because i didn't know how close you were to circumnavigating the globe. had i known you were 3 techs away i could have taken my time and built only one caravel
