      yes, ragnar is hindu too. but it took me 4 missionaries (so around 10-11 build turns) and i have not yet managed to trade anything from him.

      as for open borders with hannibal: gift him a tech or two and he'll open them up again

                    something is irritating:
                    ragnar just got feudalism. and have 40g the turn before he instantly upgraded all his 7 archers!!!!

                    each upgrade should cost something around 70g... so 490g for a human. ever with the typical AI discount it shouldn't have been possible to mass upgrade that cheap! any possible explanation?

                        And no, I can't think of a possible explanation. We are on Prince level, so that could give the AI some extra upgrade leeway, but 450 gold (or even half of that) out of nowhere I can't understand.
