1956
- Kyoto starts a Lighthouse and drafts an infantry (instantly upgraded to SAM).
Chartres finishes a Bank, starts on a Jewish Temple.
Pisae finishes a Marine, starts on a Gunship.
Paris finishes a Hindu Temple, starts on a Marine.
Antium finishes a Sam, starts on a Fighter.
Orleans finishes a Fighter and starts another one. - Karachi is reached by landforces, but no Artillery anymore in the group. Starts pillaging the area.
- 4 Cannons upgraded to Artillery in Tokyo, and killed an Indian tank that came next to the city. Lost a drafted Infantry on it.
- Rebased 4 fighters to the Japanese scene.
1955
- Tokyo under siege. Lost 2 infantry against Gunship (weird, 4 SAM's in the city and they aren't picked to defend) -and Mech+SAM attack in the defense phase. New stack assembles outside Tokyo as my turn begins. Soften it up with my fighters and artillery. The whole stack dies, we lose 1 artillery.
- Bangalore is captured with the loss of 2 artillery (again ). We now own the Liberty Statue, the UN and Hollywood. 11 turns resistance. Starting to destroy all roads around Bangalore on the Indian side as to prevent surprise assaults when our main force advances.
- Graham Bell is born in Cumae, perhaps keep him for the Space Elevator? Another option is to start on the 3 Gorges and rushing it with him but as Modo44 said, that won't give us extra power. The only benefit would be to withhold the wonder for other civs.
Trade movies for 8 gold with Cathy, gift movies to Alex, trade 1 gold for movies with Monty and gift movies to Mao. Wasn't thinking straight with Monty I'm afraid. I could have cancelled an older spice for gold deal and have all his gold for movies.
1956
- Radio is discovered, I start on Computers (6 turns atm).
- Chartres finishes its Temple, starts a Bomber.
Rome finishes a Marine, starts a Bomber.
Paris finishes a Marine, starts a Bomber.
Pisae finishes a Gunship, starts Artillery.
Marseilles finishes a SAM, starts a Bomber. - Attempted to bomb the Indian oilwells, but failed. Our fighters were intercepted but luckily only damaged.
- Our forces are advancing on Delhi, the Indian capital. Still using the scorched earth tactic as we go. Probably by the next player's turn all will be ready for an all out assault if I need bombers to take the city.
- Countryside around Karachi in the south coast is being pillaged, waiting on the arrival of some artillery before attempting to take the city. In general, the swiftness is out of our advance, some tanks being hurt by fighter raids. Scouting flights reveal a stack of 7 Gunships+SAM escort in the city closest to Tokyo. Keeping our forces there tight. For the rest, Gandhi is starting to run low on reserves. Spotted one city with only a few artillery units and a SAM in it.
- A token Russian pillaging force is roaming around in Indian lands. Ah well...
