- Stealth bombers obliverate Susa's defenses and badly damage the defenders, armor mops up whats left-- Susa captured!

- Another wing of bombers bomb Sidon's defenses as armor collumn advances

1988

-Medicine discovered- Communism next

-Bombers lay waste to Sidon's defenders and the armor comes in again to mop up-- Sidon captured

1989

-Bombers carpet bomb the capitol of Persepolis and a column of armor kills off most of the defenders but there were not enough armor close enough to finish the city off. A single artillery piece remains as defense!

-Other armor approaches Sardis

Yes Alex was at war and captured one city which is kinda why I rushed in to grab what we could. Montezuma also got involved with the war against Persia

1989bis

• Cancelled 2 deals with Alex and replaced them with a 4gpt for Fish deal.
• Stopped Bombay from starving.
• Some unit movements and stealth/jetplanes rebasing.
• Bombed Tyre and Gordium.
• Switched research from Communism to Refrigeration. We can trade or extract Communism from other civs anyway.
• Put all workers to work.
• Sliders on 60/10/30. Linked with some specialist changes still 500+ gpt. Research done in 4 turns, which mean our fleet will be a bit more mobile.
• Changed some productions... I mean, producing military in cities where no barracks, nor Judaism is present while running Theocracy?
• Upgraded about all our fighters, bombers and tanks and scouted the new Chinese city south of Lahore.

1990

• Mao completes Docking Bay, and I just discovered that 2 turns ago he completed the Space Elevator as well. This is gonna be close...
• Monty completed a SS casing. No rush there yet.
• Paris finishes Jewish Missionary and starts another.
  Karachi finishes its harbor and starts a workboat.
  Antium finishes a stealth, starts on a Mech.
  Lyons finishes an armor, starts on a Hindu Mandir.
  Orleans finishes a jet, starts on a Jewish Temple.
  Ravenna finishes a lab, starts on a bank.
  Kahoshima finshes a barracks, starts on a library.
  Bombay finishes a granary, starts on a jail.
  Calcutta finishes a theatre, starts on a Hindu Temple.
• Lots of redeployments and rebasings. Putting an airfleet in Mycenae, that Greek isle near the west coast of China.
• Scouted most of the Chinese cities.
• 2 airstrikes and 2 armor attacks on Persepolis, no losses and the city is captured. 187 gold grabbed and 2 slavesworkers join our ranks.
  6 airstrikes on Sardis, one stealth shot down. Our mechs finish the job and capture the city. 162 gold taken.

1991

• Alex offers Communism + 270 gold for Medicine, I accept.
• Monty wants open borders, I put his 2 gpt for one of our hit singles on top of it. He agrees.
• Gems are discovered near Neapolis. Jay, another thing to keep our citizens happy.
• Vote for SecGen pops up. 404 votes required from which we have 375 already.
• Discovered the location of the Space Elevator: Nanjing, near the west coast of China. Should be our primary target.
• Monty completes SS casing.
• Rome finishes a jet, starts on a Jewish Missionary.
  Cumae finishes a mech, starts on a hospital.
  Paris finishes a Jewish Missionary, starts on Scotland Yard. 5 turns, but I'm gonna hurry it in a turn or 2.
  Pisae finishes our 3th carrier, the Pompeus, starts on a coal plant.
  Karachi finishes a workboat, starts on a granary.
  Ergille finishes a granary, starts a Hindu Temple.
  Cuman finishes a harbor, starts a factory.
  Neapolis finishes a Battleship, the Bombardia IIRC, and starts on a gunship.
  Orleans finishes a Jewish Temple and starts a jail.
  Tours finishes an armor, starts on our first sub.
• Interesting... there's a few Chinese fleets escorting loaded transports underway to the last Persian isle, but also an Aztec fleet. Rebasing planes and deploying ships so I might intercept those Chinese fleets after they dropped their units on the isle. They will be blocked there then, still cost China maintenance but not usable on the homeland. Got 4 battleships, 4 destroyers and a fully loaded carrier in the area...
  Perhaps I need to buy Monty off Cyrus back, but it would be worth it. I'll see next session.

1992

• Mao requests Medicine from us, I of course mention our Rose Garden.
• We have the UN-seat again.
• Mao completes SS Cockpit
• Cathy completes SS Cockpit
• Monty completes 2 SS Casings
• Wow, Monty has landed near Gordium and most of his army's been killed already. But he could weaken Cyrus a bit too much against the Chinese. I offer him Communism for peace with Cyrus+all his gold (1160). He accepts.

1993

• Mao completes the Three Gorges Dam, and declares war on Cyrus.
• Alex completes his first SS casing.
• Refrigeration researched, started on Genetics.
• Well, here goes nothing... I declare war on Mao.
  Starting with an air campaign against the cities of Macau and Nanjing in the northwest. Those go well, but attempts to airraid the Chinese ships on the westcoast fail miserably. Too strong air defenses.
  The transport+escort fleet closest to China is sunk at the cost of our destroyer Cumae.
  For the rest 2 transports, 2 destroyers and a battleship sunk from a second transport fleet by a combined sea/air assault. All the other Chinese ships near Persia are heavily damaged.
• I made a peace treaty with Cyrus, his freaking SAM's shoot too many of our planes on their attacks at the Chinese, can't afford that damage to keep the Chinese there honest.
• Yangzhou (south of Lahore) captured with the loss of one armor. Two workers join our ranks.
• Paris finishes Scotland Yard, the next 4 turns it will train spies.

1994

• Gordium captured by the Chinese. Tyre remains the sole Persian city, and has accidently not a single defender. A Chinese chopper took the infantry out.
• This year went well for our troops. One destroyer (the Veii) and one stealth lost, a few more planes and ships damaged but the Chinese fleet is almost destroyed.
• Upgraded some infantry in the Indian provinces to mechs, thanks to the Aztec "generosity" we can afford it.

1995

• Both Chinese oilwells bombed. No more planes for the good Chairman.
• Alex completes SS Casing.
• REVOLUTION! The supreme Imperator (me ) decided to expand our Bureaucracy to meet the demands... enfin, you got the picture.
• Nothing else to report, I lost my notes...

1996

• The last Chinese battleship comes out of its port. Despite airraiding it to half strength beforehand our destroyer Brutus dies attacking it. Oh well, the Roma takes over and gets promoted.
• Bombing, bombing and more bombing, that's the mean story for this year.
• Macau is ready to be captured, our transports have reached the Chinese shore.
• We lose one armor on a tease strike near Tyre (Persia). It keeps the Chinese from taking that city.

1997

• Alex takes Tyre and razes it. That's the end of Cyrus. Funny enough, "inbetween" turns he still requests us to declare war on Persia which I gladly comply to. The more since he agrees to pursue war on Mao.
• Macau captured. Airdropping a spy inthere. Not sure if we can keep the city at this stage, so keeping a minimum of troops and blockade access points to the city a bit, while evacuating the veterans of the capture.

1998

• Alex completes SS Casing.
• The Siege of Macau. Qin does a counter attack and loses about 11 units (mostly artillery) for 5 of our units. Well, we keep the city for now, airdropping a fresh mech in it and ship a belated transport of marines inside. Also do a counter attack on the remaining Chinese units nearby with an armor and artillery I kept in reserve on Aztec territory.
• Another incoming Chinese stack is airraided quite a bit. Hopefully enough to keep them honest. On top of that defenses of Nanjing (the closest city) are continuously airraided as well.
• Converted to Hinduism. Brings more gold in the coffers.
• A Chinese destroyer pops out of the fog. It is of course chased and destroyed.
• Cathy is willing to declare war on Mao, but is a bit pricy: or Composites, or 750 gold+Refrigeration is her prize. I keep it to the next fearless leader to see if it's necessary.

1999

• Alex completes 2 SS Casings. He got the basics of his ship now.
• Macau survives another attack. Less violent this time. His main punch seems to be gone atm. We lose 2 ground units and a few planes I had to leave unprotected in Aztec territory.
• The usual, airbombing Nanjing, seabombing some other coastal cities and managed to bomb the sole Chinese source of iron, with alot of rice farms and some plantations.
• We got spies in Chinese and Russian cities now, with next turn the possibility to check on Alex as well. From the look of it we can win this if we manage to take Nanjing within 9 years, the time Mao needs to research Genetics (Stasis Chamber) so he has the potential to finish his spaceship.
  The other wild card is Cathy. She's researching Fission now with 6 turns to go. That gives her about 15 turns to research Fusion and build a space drive. Not likely but needs to be monitored. The other 2 civs are too far behind on the space race.
