    Important:

Cfc's defense is in ruins, they warn us about Aztec's power. Question: shall we do something?

In this turn cfc reports the loss of 60 units while aztec lost 6-7. Cfc says they don't even have the strength to counterattack.
As you remember our stance was to let aztec and cfc fight their war while we strengthen our economy and focus on Maya and possibly on uciv to eliminate cfc's ally. It was unexpected that aztec could win against cfc who had the biggest production and help from uciv. But now it seems aztec could walk over cfc's land and the only thing that could stop that is that our NAP with aztec ends in 5 turns.
Our strength is 3,6 mill vs aztec's 5 mill and with the recent loss of cfc we are second in power-note that 30+ modern unit we get next turn is not included. But also we should not forget that aztec can start a golden age at any time.

If we are to go war (or just not extend the nap with aztec) there is an other thing to consider: cfc will not help us against maya, while aztec could help them on that front and holding those cities binds a very big force. I think we should consider eliminating this weak spot, by giving up the 6-7 mayan cities we got and use our forces to defend our own cities which is much easier if the enemy border is not right next to our city. It's a bummer since I have built factories and coal plants there, but it's more important to save our army and weaken aztec than to weaken maya. Ofc if this would happen i would first slave/draft them and try to make plans to recapture them once they lost and that time raze these cities.

Our second specialized city to introduce is our former capital, Apolyton.

At pop 23 it is the biggest city of the world (second being pop 21 at cfc). it could grow even bigger though it is at happyness and pollution limit, but it has 11! specialists currently. It generates 156 great person points/turn though we are in golden age (would be 117 otherwise).
The city has the national epic national wonder of course and the hermitage (when i thought we could go for cultural victory).
Also has the Sankore university and the Kremlin world wonders +an academy. This is the only core city which has no factory so it can have the most great person.

I will make a big report about the situation 3 turns later, right now too much is changing.
    t235
Most important issue is that our border defense at the maya is critical. They have 40+ cannon, 100+ unitsaltogether, their border just popped and our cities are very exposed. Not to mention they will get military science next turn and can train commando units after that so we need defense even in our core cities or they can use our railroads and raze them..
I estimate thatif they attack any one of our border city they can take it and then our inner cities will be exposed.I try my best to protect the border, but it is a possibility that we lose the conquered cities. Problem is that I can't send our units there.. our NAPs will end soon and I must reinforce the border in the former inca cities.
Ofc as I've said soon we will increase our military strength significantly. We switched to theocracy now and just by next turn we will make 29 new tanks and some artilleries. after that we will make 15-20 new tanks in each turn. by t240 when our nap ends we will have about 100 tanks.

I haven't seen the map for a while so can we get a couple of screen shots for those of us who don't/can't log in? It would help us understand the lay of the land a bit better.

I had an idea of making a short intorudction about our greatest/special cities.

Well, then I start with Malatya, the small city (pop 4-6) which just finished building the West point national wonder (+4xp for military units). This city has very low base production, but it is one of our main military training center.
    Malatya has:
    -West point
    -Globe theatre
    -military academy
    -settled great general
-13/15 surplus food while being small city

As a city with Globe theatre and so no unhappyness this city was our main drafting city, but since some time ago slaving is just better than drafting. West point was built from the overflow of military units. Malatya can slave an infantry for two population (same as drafting) with 0 investment made into it (as you know there are big penalties if you slave something at 0 hammer spent on it). Without penalty one pop whipped here gives 117 hammer. and the city grows in each turn (almost) It's like having 133 hammers in each turn. From next turn when we switch to theocracy each unit produced here will get 11xp. This city will produce lvl 4 tanks in every second turn and it will even build up overflow.

Having looked in I now have some thoughts on diplomacy after t238 and will discuss in diplo thread.

Hip hip hooray. I got in. I just needed to tinker/adjust the new mod using the earlier mod as reference.

So massive tank production going on plus also a city producing West Point?. It seemed at first look a low production site but good that it is on the coast. However I am sure that's not the full story.

    Thanks for the update.

I am still keeping an interest, though it is now turning into a bit of a long drag.

I will make a big status report around t238. everything about our armies, our rivals, possible battle plans etc. Until then more and more cities will start building military units, and once we get into theocraqcy the rush building with gold and whip will start too. Right now our population is quite big (it says we are 3rd or 4th, but we lead in food production with more than 10% on the second so our effective population is probably the biggest, we just have less really big cities.), we are starting to reach some limits mainly in pollution, but in happyness too. We should also consider that we rely on import of spec resources quite much.
About forces: most of our cities are building tanks and it will be our primary focus. At the mayan front we have mostly rifles and infantries, but those units should stay there otherwise we would lose the captured mayan cities. So near the aztecs we will mostly have tanks, some artillery and other units.
We have flighting about 2/3 researched, but I stopped working on it right now in favor of collecting money.. and because I'm not sure we should research it at all.. aztec could stole it from us.. (though we will run counterespionage on them as soon as our treaty allows it)

What is the make up of our Armies and which units do you think we should prioritize?
