Anyone else getting a Load Failed error "The save file you have selected is protected to ensure that the assets in your mod file have not been changed."?

I can get all the way to logging in but the map never comes up instead I briefly get the above message and then dumped back to my desktop.

I would also recommend more then 4 hours for Turn 0 so that everyone can successfully login and make their first move.

Make sure the mod is unzipped into a a folder and in the BTS mods folder. I have had this problem, and this message before.

What would you advise to do when a password which has been claimed doesn't work anymore.
(without breaking anonimity)..

because when I pm you you know which country I am..

Furthermore I strongly urge you to make first turn 48 hrs, as there are allways laggers..

Not getting a response from sending a PM message for password. Not sure if its going through. Doesn't show on sent message. Something not working correctly with Pm .. maybe takes a little to allow it. Can you either disable the min post requirement or just email me the password to chinadob at cogeco dot ca ... thanks Tried all I can for now.

I get your PM just fine. You have to go into your options and tell it to keep a copy of your sent messages, or they are automatically deleted. In fact:

I recommend that Everyone set their options to save copy of their sent messages to the "SENT" folder.

I don't see why the game needs a password ... the civ itself is fine to be password protected. Having both is duplicitous.

You will see when you get the password. Please send your Anonymous account password and your game login password

You extract the Mod to desktop and then copy past the folder into you Program Files-->BTS--> Mods folder.

Yes others have said this too. We will probably be going with a more traditional timer schedule until I hear otherwise from the players. I think something like 12 hours for initial turns, then 24 then 48. But changing turn length will be an ongoing thing I imagine.
