Excellent, a sub!
I hope you stick around to actually play the civ
Check your PMs when you get in also! I'm sure you have two weeks of back-reading to do...
Yeah, you don't need to read this full thread. Indeed, 5-6 pages back (at full page length) should suffice. The "August"(/September) story thread should fill you in on most of the in-game issues that this thread doesn't cover, and your PM cache should provide further clarity. I'm sure you will be contacted by me, Japan, Mongolia, and India at least once you have your account, to clarify further what's up in our eyes.
So, are we going to restart or wait for a Zulu sub as well? As they aren't nearly as central in the game right now, nor at war, nor terribly powerful, perhaps we can just get a new, super secret temp sub for them until a permanent one can be found? The long pauses aren't likely good for the health of the game...

@ gpcii - My rule of thumb for joining new pitbosses is to start reading the most recent pages, and work my way backwards until I feel like I have a good idea of what is going on, then start at the beginning and work my way forward for the historical context, until I start to get bored. By then you will probably be too busy to bother with the rest, and you will have a really good idea of the past and present of your civ. Use the same method for PMs as well.
For this game, it is a special kind of situation though because its a diplogame with stories. So I would recommend reading the whole story thread for this month. Don't bother with previous months unless you really enjoy them. That's my advice

Although I like the new stuff about Bayeg too. Graphic-novel worthy stuff.. My one critique is the lack of pictures, but thats minor.Mexico Emerges as a New Player on the International Stage - Mexico City Times

Is the Chinese sub ready? Please confirm here.
Regarding the Zulu, do we need a new sub?
Personally I believe that perm subbing two civs that close to each other isn't right.
The Arabs have the same player both on the north-west and on the south. That's not a very favourable situation.
There is a player who wants to sub for the Zulu in my PM box. (a player from this game but more distant from the Zulu then the Turks)
Great job though that the Turks have been subbing the Zulu all the time and I do believe that they are doing this honest and fair.Formerly known as "CyberShy"
