Understood. Not a problem. Well sort of. There was a battle. Fingers crossed for a similar result.

Not sure what is going on. My turn is already played, as it occurred. I did log in after that. I wanted to find out the name of the unit which won the battle for the story thread. Does that create a second recovery save?

At any rate, all appears OK.

Every last login creates an autosave that overwrites earlier autosaves. Every civ has an autosave that way.
I can always use the login of the last civ. In your case that means there's no loss. I used your "check the name of the unit" login to reload, so that's the best possible thing.

So next time you had some very very very lucky results in battles, always login again after logging out to create a new save, that way you can be sure that it won't be lost

Robert, can you please see what is going on with the Zulu - as far as I understand there is war and their player is not playing his turns. Maybe you can contact the original player or allow someone to temporary and emergency sub for them?
