Destiny of Empires [Diplo Game] [Organization Thread]
@ Ottomans. Great story post! It nicely pulled all the elements together.
Too bad about that general though....
Thanks... Just trying to keep up with your brilliant posts (Great ones about the battles recently). I added some pics too, after. Last time I tried to write the post and add the pics all at the same time the darn thing 'backspace-erased' on me and I had to do it all over that sucked... And Yea he had to go after screwing up that badly ...
Mexico Emerges as a New Player on the International Stage - Mexico City Times
The Inca have also read it, but feel the title is a bit too dramatic, and should be changed to: "War, What Is It Good For?" as this more closely represents our sentiments.

Absolutely! Also look at the turn-tracker - all of the players log-in and play every turn, despite some forget or on purpose dont hit EoT.
Is there some reason that I have twice now logged into this site and been re-directed to GoDaddy.com with the message that the domain has either expired or been parked there? I mean besides the obvious one that GoDaddy is tampering with my psyche and my computer...
France:
(replace brackets with < and >)
[img src="httblahblahblah" align="left" /]
You can also align center and right. add:
hspace=X
vspace=X
where X = pixel amount
This will give a little extra room around the picture, h=horizontal, v=vertical.
Remember to turn off the little /A button at the top right of the editing window, or else it can lose this and turn it back into IMG tags.
@ England ... only 5 hours left and I need you to finish your turn plse.
Regarding the go-daddy message, the domain name did 'expire' but RP renewed it immediately. That is why some of us, myself included, got the no-daddy, er I mean go-daddy message.
I just wanted to point out some issues that I felt forced certain players into a crappy position and others into opulence. Now if the map was reasonably balanced then those advantages could at least be balanced out, but South East Asia is as rich as all of India, and with the map situation (Mountain pass) China was able to easily seize it as well as its own extremely rich lands. Some have said that Delhi has more resources than Beijing, but so does Shanghai and Guangzhou AND Kaifeng AND Hangzhou (name might be wrong, HongKong location). So while Delhi may have been able to compete with Beijing, with China's 2nd city his production effectively doubled. And then doubled again with 2 capital-value cities expanding further. As noted, a small advantage grows to a big advantage, but in this case an advantage has grown to an imbalance. EACH of China's main cities practically outproduce all of India if we discount Delhi. That is unbalanced.
Anyway, that is all water under the bridge, and it has made India's role quite interesting. But I felt that I should say something about the resulting imbalance which in my opinion has benefitted China immensely and been to the extreme detriment of Mongolia. And as some say, Mongolia had good lands, but was too slow to settle it and lost it in fair REX races. But in fact they had a disadvantage that was exploited by two superpowers to keep them down taking the best lands available. Those two superpowers should in my opinion have a duty to help the Mongols rather than keep squashing them. Half the world started fighting to keep England on top, but no one has said anything about Mongolia being forced to the bottom. I wanted to draw attention to that fact. And yes, India could/should have done something. But the result would have been bankrupting India in a war against a civ with a strategic advantage, a very powerful ally in the region (Japan has a huge army), a military advantage, a technological and economic advantage. It is the fact that there was no way I could influence the outcome that has made me bring this up. And while the world reacts to top dog England getting beaten down a few steps, everyone criticises the bottom civ for trying to change its unfair position. Is this not hypocritical? Every civ which has spoken out on the matter has supported China in this situation. Is that not odd? It seems that there is a tendency for strong civs to propped up and weaker ones to be kept down.
However, I will shut up about it now. Unfairness is the way of the world.
