Well, you are correct about donations and this must be one-time thing (for me especially). My idea was to help a bit so Mongolia/India to step on its foots and then they are on their own. Also, instead of me building one more city now with this settler (which I have plans for), I wanted my competitor Mongolia to build one more city and to narrow the gap between us.

Now, when you say how backward India is, the complains from Mongolia that they dont have land and considering we still need a player who to actually play India, no matter how well she gets after the eventual help and your loving care, the merge is more and more appealing to me.

But either we need a vote, or articulate decision from the host.

I think Russia is right. If it is true that Mongolia only has land for 2/3 cities, no amount of gifting them units is going to put them back in the action - particularly when their neighbours Russia and China have so many more. I'd still say merge - allow Mongolia to play India and arrange a merge as they wish.

Come on - there is space for Mongolia to plant at least 4 more cities - and thats only what I see. It is not that bad. Yes, they will be not all great cities. Neither mine are all great city spots, but I love them and they repay me well

And not much hope for the keshiks - I will have pikes soon if I so desire.

So, Mongolia, now when you dont want any help from me, please say if I gift you this settler, will you be willing to escort it to India and then gift it to them?

Still I am OK with Mongolia and India merging.

Gift the settler. And Mongolia you should have plenty of space for cities up there. I just played the 1000 AD scenario as Mongolia and I had plenty of great cities up there. I think on the DoE map I added some additional resources over the 1000 AD map too (though I don't really remember). So it can't be that bad.

I do not have room for cities that are any good, Russia has built 5 squares from my capital on 1 side, Chinese about 7 squares on the other, with the Russians choosing the best food specials and where my 2nd city was supposed to go except sub misplaced it. For those who talk about Indians, I have never met them, no idea where they are, no route possible to south anyway due to impassable mountain ranges.

Cant we have a vote to shorten the timer a bit? 10 or 11 hours normally? With the slowing down when a player is online, it becomes like 11 or 12 hours in real time.

Anybody against shortening the turn timer to 11 hours for another 50 turns?

Feel free to speak up. You got the rules on your side.
But if you do not really need those hours we may loosen the rules up a bit.

Just got back from a weekend away and catching up on everything.

Mongolia you are not being truthful there is enough room to your East for 10-15 cities. You say I have settled in land that belongs to you? What makes it your land? It is as close to my capital as it is to yours.

You are bringing unnecessary negativity to the game with these posts. I have helped India out a little, Russia is trying to help you, and instead you threaten us both. That's fine with me, build your horse units, I will dedicate a city to building spears. You are free to make choices in the game, as many of us have stated, we built settlers while you built pyramids. Your actions have consequence and so will your next ones.

Just don't complain when you attack Russia or myself that it doesn't work out in your favor, which it won't, because if you attack us we are allowed to strike back.
