Wouldn't be the first time I found myself somewhat offended by what others had posted... PMs are the place for that, though; I don't really respect attempts at creative censorship in the org thread.

I wasn't offended by the pictures. But then again I am almost never offended by pictures. The fact that Russia was able to get them means they are freely available. The whole point is to tell stories IC. That being said, taking offense in general is a highly subjective matter. What offends one will not offend another. So I guess one way to go about it is to PM the person and say "Hey that pic really hurts or offends me personally" rather than publicly rag on someone's post. These posts take time, thought and creativity and I don't want anyone to be made out or implied to be engaged in some kind of wrongdoing or insensitivity because of their choice of pics. That's not fair.

yea i thought it was particularly funny given Eisenhower's farewell address... Well done BTW. What a great read! I was getting sad that we were missing nice stories, just a lot of Statements, but no stories (excluding Inca of course )

Anyway I digress... Turkey is first bloc, America is 2nd, assuming we are going with blocs. If we are, the timer is fine the way it is. If we are not then please increase to 48 hrs.

Obviously India reads this from time to time - so it is up to them to just do this on their own or approve a temp sub.

I don't want to sub for india, I just offered to set a research path for them. Being a neighbor or not, I have full view on their empire anyway, that's why I know that they had finished a tech in last turn and now they are researching nothing.

Yes please India select a tech at least, then you can return to Cold Turkey time if you like. But as Russia says if they are slider-set at 100% Gold then all of this discussion of subbing is pointless because there is no harm done whatsoever. Anyone can easily see their GPT in the diplo window. If it is something like 100+ GPT then they are running 100% Gold and this discussion should end. If it is like 10 GPT then they do need a tech choice at least so they are not wasting $$. I would select a tech that is far far in the future so that this problem doesnt come up again in 3 turns.

And Inca is right that if anyone is going to log in for India and sub for them it is for sure not supposed to be a neighbor. It should be somebody that at a minimum, does not share a border with them.

They (Otts) said we should wait 20 turns before act, I say we should not.
They were researching something, maybe it switches to money by itself, maybe not, I don't know the mechanism.

Ah, it does not work this way. If they were researching and completed the research, then they lose beakers for sure. Come on, India, get on your feet, raise the guard, move, dont stay in the corner.
