While we wait for all the involved nations to agree/disagree it will be better the turn timer to be extended (despite how much I hate long timers)

Back when we had units that could realistically be called "assault troops", we just called them "Inca Assault Force," but I suppose that is what backwards, isolated fools do who know nothing of the more enlightened centers of power and thought...

And the French Blue Cross foundation that stormed the wounded defenders of Brittania and massacred the retreating Ottomans and the Russian observer near Carthage.

He just as a flair for Orwellian names. It was the Viking Ministry of Peace which landed troops in my homeland and captured all my oldest and most important cities.

I would prefer we go to a 'them and us' set up, as was proposed earlier by the Russians. I appreciate that there are some nuances as to who is at war with whom, but lets be frank (as we are the Franks.... ), this is essentially a two bloc fight.
    Exactly!

The Axis of Light and Truth and Honor (Vikings, Neandor, and France and whoever else wants to be our friends) versus the Axis of Evil (England, Rus, Ottoman, Arabia
You swapped by mistake the names and the participants of the two blocks

First time I have heard of that. If everyone else can see them Ok, it is likely something at your end.

    Here is the imageshack site:

I see them quite fine. Perhaps it is some sort of south of the equator interference.

Just for the protocol, Russia skipped its fleet's movement 1 turn for this reason, so if you were able to chase it, my earlier movement did not interfere with this. (if you are uncertain of this, you can count the tiles and the turns manually )

I do play in a good faith and expect the others do the same, so I will be OK with any turn order that will suit us all. Have in mind that I am unable to play from 6 AM to 6 PM GMT and in the original turn order France had to play after me. If no satisfactory solution for all the involved parties about the turn order can be found, after we all state our preferences (rocket or military scientists, anyone? ) then the host to state the order and/or ensure pauses so every one have his time to play his turn.

    Cheers Toni

I was with the impression, that we agreed on the "block" timer and with this move it is restored - England, Russia and Ottomans play in the first half of the timer and Vikings, France (Neandor???) in the second half.

Last week I was at vacation, so it was ok for me to play at any time, but now I am back at work and either I play early in the begining of the timer, or I have to play nearly 5 hours before the end of the timer leaving small amount of time for France to play.
We did not agree to the blocks (very anti-diplo idea) - we only discussed it dear Catherine the sexy

It is vaguely possible that your Frigate/Galleon stack could have been chased down btw so this makes turn order good form during war time.

I've been extremely careful about gifting any units to France or the Vikings so that they can only use them in the correct turn order, ie I play AFTER Vikings (so any units gifted they play the next turn); and BEFORE FRANCE who plays AFTER DA and RUSSIA.

It's not rocket science, more military science
