I have now started DoE again and decided to keep DoF down for now to see how things are going.

Logged in just fine.

But China has the game paused.

I could try to host DoF, but I would need some help and instructions on how to do so.

- First just install civ4 and BtS and patch 3.19
- Then install the mod just as you would install the mod on your normal computer
- in the .ini file of bts change the port value of the pitboss server 2065
- make sure in the ini that every 1 turn a new autosave is created for pitboss games and that the server will store about 1000 savegames. (max savegames setting, or something)
- start the pitboss server, load the savegame I will provide to you, password: foes

- go to your router and direct port 2065 to your pitboss server
- go to playyourturn.com, download the updater
- start the updater, fill out the correct info (game id: 249, password: foes) and start it.

that should do the trick.

I was running 1 domino server, 2 pitboss games and 1 bittorrent client on one server.
It was a bit too much in the end..... but still.

No, the domino server is fine. And even if it would crash, it wouldn't crash the physical server.
That's the problem, the physical server just suddenly reboots. Most probably some memory problem or something.

edit: ok, I'm a fool for not getting Ozzy's joke at once

Anyway, now my laptop also died
Graphical card issue.... need a new one, which is expensive, so I'm going to look for a new laptop now.

Finally civ5 may be worth to be played since civ5 supports 3D
