New type of diplo game

Please tell me what I am to do with France.

He appears to have given up now but still has axemen in the jungle to my south so I have to match them 1v1. I am a minor power but am the no.1 military power which is killing my economy and driving the people mad with slaving and war weariness. He has lost 1 city to barbs already and it looks like I will have to take a useless barb city to save his new capital.

This is unfair on me now and I request permission to obliterate France.

There is no point in allowing a France of the nature you describe to continue, maybe get help from a few neighbours you have in that task and raze most cities so no big advantage to you in eliminating a neighbour,( I am assuming you have an advantage in already capturing paris that will help your civ longterm)

I did not do any double move, the turn I razed the city I killed 2 units, chariot in the city and axe outside it using a chariot for a 2 square move. The following turn I made peace immediately as diplo screen comes up instantly and need to deal with that before moves can be made.

1) RULE - Civs should not be eliminated before 1000AD. This was a starting rule.

However We Are Mostly Intelligent People (WAMIP) here and if France fails to post here within 24 hours I suggest that Sum'E'ria uses his/her judgement and tries to adhere to the rule. If this is unworkable I'd be happy for a 'diplomatic' dialog between Sumeria and France's other neighbours to agree on a plan of elimination of France (a la Trev's idea). It is a good idea to raze the cities as Trev suggests so as to reduce the advantage gained in this part of the world by obtaining more available land.

2) RULE: Double Moves are NOT prohibited.This was a starting rule.

HOWEVER WAMIP and dedicated diplo players here and the spirit of the game is to AVOID double moves. The game will NOT be reloaded if a double move does occur. KISS.

A big problem I face with this is that I don't think he has any close neighbours. This is the insanity of his attack on me as we were not close neighbours either. I had to to go close to east-west/north-south across an entire continent to get to Paris. As things stand Paris is a huge burden as is the muster city I founded to get to it. It will be an asset long-term but not now.

I thought he would just come to terms after I captured his capital but when he saw I had gone round the back he just stopped playing.

The only other neighbour would be Goo Girl but he/she does not talk either. This is another part of the burden.

I really am not sure what there is now left of France as he seems to have thrown everything at me. There is still land down there and France could easily have founded 4-6 cities without bothering to fight anyone. Only bad problem is that so much is jungle that without Iron Working it is worth very little. I guess that was his motive.

My biggest problem is that my civ is now like a big L so that I have a huge border which costs a fortune to defend. I wanted to logically expand directly south but have been forced into this position. I now need 3 armies to defend north, south and south-east which costs a fortune.

For whatever's it's worth I vote that Sumeria be allowed to do what they please at this point. It seems he is being quite reasonable and if France has just decided to quit we shouldn't punish Sumeria for it.

We should also have RP name the quitter so they can't join another diplo game!

One last thing, I don't understand how to create multiple poly accounts attached to 1 email address. I want to create an account for this game and can't get past this.

I didn't lose a city but I came VERY close.

I lost one because I wasn't loggin in every turn - timer is too fast for that - turns were stored up a few in advance and in the meantime barbarians appeared, attacked and raised before I knew anything about it!
