Mighty Egypt grows

As mighty Egypt's people began to multiply, the advisors to the great Pharaoh Meni claimed it was time for their people to cross the great river and search for the legendary edge of the world. Meni ordered a group of settlers, warriors and priests to the sea, to settle there.



It was a long and arduous journey, but Egyptians are strong and fearless. After forty nights and forty days, and many crazy ramblings from one of our drunk priests who claimed all sorts of things about a god, commandments, and other gibberish, we found a new home. As intended life began to get back to normal in Britannia. Farmer went back to their fields miner retured back to the overflowing gold mine and the warriors continued their training.

One night while sleeping Alexander had a dream. in his dream he was in a foreign land far from Britannia. Around him he saw the lifeless remains of Persian men being eaten by birds and in the distance he saw the head of the Persian king stuck on a pole high in the air.

He awoke unsure of what his dream ment but knew that whtever it ment it would not fair well for Persia.

Young ‘Red Cloud’ was scouting and hunting in the forests north of Cahokia. He already had his food sack full with, mushrooms, berries, rabbit, duck and was tracking a white tailed deer.

Earlier he had spotted a friendly warrior from a tribe, ‘Touch the Cloud’ had spoken about: the Mali tribe.

This Mali warrior’s signals said ‘Be careful, there are one or more unfriendly warriors in your part of the wood'. Red Cloud took note and continued tracking the deer. Suddenly before him stood a member of what ‘Red Cloud’ thought was a member of the Pawnee tribe. He stood his ground, the warrior attacked and Red Cloud killed him with one blow with his club. Young Red Cloud now had his first scalp.

These words are bound by Igor Son of Vlad the Farmer. They describe the foray of Persian soldiers into Ottoman lands and their reasons for doing so.

In years long ago, before the library of Moscow was built, Persia used its armies to wrest the lands of Strprsburg from the Rus. Concerned over the dangers posed by an aggressive landhungry empire, the Britannians and the Ottoman declared their support for Russia, though no fighting was done as Russia could not stand against the armies of Persia and willingly gave the land demanded by the Persian warlord Hastog. Having subjugated Russia, Hastog sent part of his army to Britannia to force them to acknowledge his ownership of the Petro-Persian valley, which they did, swearing an oath of fealty to Persia.

The bulk of Hastogs conquering army moved south through Russia, to meet the other challenger to Persian domination of the northlands, the people of the lands of Uthman, known in Araby as Usman, and in Britannia as Ottoman.

Before this time, Russia and Uthman divided lands, but Uthman later took land Russia saw as their own. Samo the headbanded demanded that the land be given to Russia, but the Uthman would not give. Keeping the march of the Persian army secret, Samo gave them guides through the Orroman mountain pass, showing them the entry to Uthman lands. With the Persian army on Uthman land, a peace was arranged.



Samo convinced the Warlord of Persia to shed no blood. In return the Uthmans would send two groups of slaves to Russia to cut the massive jungles and build homes and farms and roads. I, Igor, witnessed this and bound these words in copper so that people who knew it not would know of it.

The land east of the Orroman pass is now Russian. The lands west of Edirne is Uthman.

Russia continues to thrive despite the outlook that Russians shortly will not have more land to settle. Samo has made negotiations with the Britanns over possible land treaties, but nothing has been bound in writing.

Other things however have been bound in writing, so much that Samo orders a special archive be created to house all writings of land and cattle ownership, family marriage records and other information. The first library of the world (correct me if wrong) is constructed in Moscow in 1475BC . Writing and reading becomes a symbol of status and many seek to learn it, spurring Russian literacy rates to unrivaled levels.



The Russian fishermen who sailed Catherine to Araby have been given a commission to explore the eastern sea. Finding a trade route to Mecca, they bravely row eastwards in search of the Byzantine Empire.

Not long after ‘Burnt Thighs’ had founded the village of ‘Poverty Point’ on the coast, and within reach of bison, he asked ‘Lone Horn’ who had joined them from Cahokia, to commence building a strong canoe, to explore along the coast. It wasn’t long before ‘Lone Horn’ had completed the task and he had an idea about tying some buffalo skin to an upright pole, which he secured in the centre of the canoe. He still had his paddle of course for going up creeks.

‘Lone Horn’ with plentiful supplies of meat, berries, corn, water and a pipe, set off on his voyage of discovery. ‘Burnt Thighs’, ‘Spotted Wolf’ and the tribe members gathered on the shore to see him away.

Spotted Wolf promised to scour the skies for smoke signals. After several moons, Spotted Wolf, saw the distant smoke plumes. Lone Horn had seen another tribe on a shore. Some were riding in a strange device pulled by horses.
