That's cause you weren't svelt and clean-shaven, like the rest of them. I notice the Egyptian Sun didn't even bother with pictures of Persian Hastogianistic women.
I play Europa Universalis II; I dabble in everything else.

      • In Iran fat hairy women are concidered to be extremely hot.
The fact that some people prefer clean-shaven thin women is only a matter of cultural influence. We in Persia/Iran are really turned off by such women. *shivers*

              Wow!!

I so got this all wrong!

The only one I became confident about was Cyber but when I started subbing in December I was sure that Persia was The Priest.

Byzantium seemed too emotional and angry at times to fit the picture I had of The Priest (but maybe that's the effect Raz has on people!).

But then I thought Hercules or some other unknown to me was either Byzantium , England or Persia.

Cyber tried to trick us into thinking he was Mali so I guess I fell for that for a while.

As time went on Russia had lzPrst all over it. He's such a good writer from several games.

I was certain India was Toni until the intercept message a week or so back.

How did Japan from BtP do so well here? How did mzprox catapult his research so well? The only player I know who could do this was Toni so it's great that we have a growing stable of top diplo players. Even the ones outside of ozzy's list are great players and encourage all of you to keep playing diplo!

              Well done all

I can't believe Toni and I (via Raz) actually allied. I knew I would do it one day but not here! Not now!

              LOL

England seemed to be more like a nice Frank but I kept thinking maybe Hercules...

I got to thinking that maybe Byzantium was Cyber at one stage but...

So bamf226 was my old Celt buddy from Btp!! Hi ya!! You played pretty good here I think and are developing well.

I never picked St Jon as Inca. I hated Inca in this game but really like St Jon!!

Finally I have to comment on the progress of our host over the years. Cyber was a low level civ in HOTW5 and each game since then he has bettered himself to the point of being an equal top of the top players.

So this is encouragement to all the other players from Warning U2 and up that if you study the game hard you can be at the top. But of course we can all still have fun playing at any level. I really got a buzz playing the 6/7th civ and the 14/15th civ. One advantage of not being a top threat is that you can get espionage on everyone whenever you like

              • Diplo vets

I like it that ozzy put to rest the absurd concept of Diplo vet players and the connotations it had. We should stop using this expression as it has been well proven that the growing diplo group is open and honest in its dealings.

I think that is a compliment!

More to the point, I think that the general difficulty of certain identification shows that the role playing element works - the different nations and different leaders within those nations are not just transparent windows onto the player underneath. I know some do the role plalying thing more than others, and thats fine, but a good mix of it does keep the games fresh - not just repeats of the last. I'm certainly looking forward to a different approach in DoE.

Why hate poor little Inca? She never did any harm and always adored Korean food.

I agree. I've been very impressed with CS' climb in skill. Should be very inspiring for all the struggling players. Keep working at it and you can one day be a force to be reckoned with.

Game was over before anyone had time to repay him, but since most of his losses were caused by Persians back stabbing perhaps it is hte character of their leader that shoudl repay john

Persia had nothing to do with the entire Inca thing.
Neither did Persia backstab anybody. Persia only used other world leaders for it's own bigger plan.
But the fall of the Incan capital was something between Korea/England/Byzantium and India. Persia had nothing to do with it.

                              • If India had of been defeated all Incan cities would have been returned and recompense paid for damages.

howver it was pointelss doing anything once the war was lost , partly caused by the persians.

back stabbing is where you write to an enemy of ours in secret and tell them things, that is back stabbing.

You agreed you did that as part of your character.

However you werent the first to let India know of planned attack !!!
