ok i am now to play. Sorry to be a problem but i have to get awake at 05.30 and not get back home untill 1830-1930. This is gmt+1 so is not so easy to play good war with no coffee inside me and railway waiting.

Please this is computer game and not love.

I hope that is sufficient explanation for my comment.

I am quite able to understand the concept of checking whose turn it is (thank you), but if the application is down at the host's end or the game is down, I'd be very appreciative if there is another means to know whose turn it is , short of calling each person individually.

On a subject entirely different ...

I immediately upon learning there was a problem with the image I posted in the story thread took action to reduce the size. I am truly sorry that I impacted anyone that is not blessed with a wide screen 21" monitor like myself at a ridiculous resolution. I think some of the subsequent discussions and mail I received would have only been warranted, had I NOT taken action immediately upon learning there was a problem. Nuff said.

What do you mean you have no idea whose turn it is?
It's easy: civstat writes who had already made its turn (there is a dot next to their names on the list). So you check wether Inca and England both finished their turns, then it's you turn-for you only those two matters.

perhaps if we all gave each other some respect then we wouldnt see so many people getting upset when treated like idiots.

Thank you Robert I did not see that post. I frequently play this turn early in the morning or in the evening upon return from work. I do not have the luxury of reviewing all the posts .... wishing only to alert you and other players that I am unable to play my turn.

You've said you couldnt take your turn in the morning and have no idea whose turn it is. I wrote because you shouldnt had to play anyway since it was not your turn. It's better to clarify than getting reloads. Now I understand that you thought civstat might not be up to date, but we haven't seen such an error so far (sometimes it's not accessable though).

But I can see that there are two kinds of "pausing" circling. "host pause" and "player pause".
When I say "pause" I actually mean that the game has temporarily been stopped. I'll use that phrase from now on.

I'm sorry if I was a bit bichy, I just had 3 extremely busy days b/c of marriage and my wife getting the flu and having to run an entire household while also taking care of wife. I'm sorry.
