It's ok RP the game won't collapse before someone finishes you off and I win the game.

To start with, you should be more thorough when you initial login, especially during war.
The thing is that we can't be sure that you're not doing stuff war related.

I'd say: if Byzantium agrees, you are allowed to login again. But if he doesn't (and he has every right to!) then you should not.

Maybe you can be trusted, but if we make it a common practice, everyone will do it, and in the end it'll be abused for sure, causing zillion new dramas, which will make the game collapse before I could win it. Especially that would be a shame.

question about the war turn order.
Can I log in after I have played my turn to do things not war related? occasionally I have certain details to look up and micromanagement and stuff. I can promise that no attacks or other hostile acts will be done during such subsequent logins, is this an acceptable guarantee, or should I just be more thorough when I log in the first time?

The truth is clear - some are just trying to obscure it.

The in game scores which we can all see in game, represent CIV's estimation of who is the biggest/most powerful/more techonological advanced. If the way you want to play is 'see who are the most powerful/successful civs and organise an alliance to gang up on them' (which certainly has merit) then the ones to look at are the ones at the top of the in game score list (Currently England and India, and yes then Byzantium who has recently stolen 3rd from Persia). The only thing to remember is that some people's score is inflated because they have already used their vouchers for tech trade (and tech gives score). So when looking at these you need to mentally add score to those civs who haven't used many vouchers, because as soon as they do, their score will leap (Byzantium has overtaken Persia not because I have grown recently but because I have spent vouchers on tech trades).

The other 'scores' are our votes (well 75% our votes plus 25% from the ingame score). Now call me biased but 'see who are the civs whose stories and attitude we liked most and organise an alliance to gang up on them' is really wierd.

You are now saying that Byzantine is biggest...?

How am i supposed to send my huge armies to the right place if you dont make it clear who is the target ..

He's talking about these score sheets: http://apolyton.com/forums/showpost....postcount=1156

Those are the real scores for this game!
Gamescore is only a part of that.

You cannot just condemn the rest of us for not taking on any of the big boys when you don't try yourself. Go get one of the big boys if you wish but I doubt that if you knew just how big even number four was you would think to do it without the aid of one of the others.
i dont evne know where he got the score sheet from, isnt Roberts score ingame too?

But from roberts score India and England are high not Byzantine, yet on Indias score sheet Byzantine is high!!!!

So i am lost now as to who is where on score , you say indias score chart is real ?

I would understand if it were the waring civs slowing the game down but from the looks of it they have finished withis the same amount of time we had pre war. It is the other civs that are always missing their turns anyways that is slowing the game down even more. I say if Russia and Byzintines are ok with it that we go back to normal 11hr timer or 12hr timer.

I can't let the turn proceed manually
So if we have long turn timers, we then also have to wait till the last player played.

We do not have maximum turn? I think we agree no turn go on until all play. Very slow if we let all take as much as they want if war is happening for others.
